Expert Panel: Careers in Accounting
Date: Wednesday, November 11th
Time: 6:00 pm – 7:15 pm
As part of our monthly events at Devant, we facilitate Expert Panels to offer international students and alumni insight into a specific industry. This month, our focus is on Accounting. Our panel includes an HR practitioners, a Chartered Professional Accountant recruiter, an immigration lawyer and a career development professional. Our panel is equipped to guide you through the process of building a great career in the accounting sector, by discussing labour market insights, hiring tips, and networking strategies. Career Spotlight: International Student to Investment Advisor
Our newsletter is a great place to stay up to date with industry news, meet working professionals, and get tips and strategies on navigating the Canadian job market. Get Hired at Home
Date: Thursday, January 28th and Thursday, February 4th
Devant, in partnership with Talent Egg is excited to present Get Hired at Home. This expo is dedicated to connecting international students and alumni to Canadian employers. Interact live with up to 25 companies and recruiters to learn about their available job opportunities (entry-level, co-op and internship). We are also offering an online career development workshop before the expo. This will help you maximize your success by learning about virtual interview etiquette and elevator pitch.
